Oppenheimer Funds 50th anniversary web site
Created as an online companion to an anniversary book developed by the Pohly Company that documented Oppenheimer’s 50-year history, the design challenge for the site was to effectively translate the structure, content and look of the book into an online experience and augment it with special interactive features and online-specific content. The project also included the design of an internal site for collecting historical stories and photos, as well as the design of a animated graphic to promote the anniversary site.
Oppenheimer Funds is one of the nation’s largest and most respected financial asset management companies.
Intro page with an animated montage grid of historical image thumbnails
An interactive timeline across the top of each page highlights the key events and milestones of each section.
Supplemental sidebar stories are featured using scrollable pop-ups.
Large pop-down site navigation menu makes the site’s volume of content easy to understand and access.
